Expensive and unreliable electricity is holding farmers back in rural Tanzania, but a new solution is changing that. The Powerfarm project is a 12-month clean-energy initiative in Morogoro, Tanzania, led by Aegis Energy with Farm Africa and local partners. Discover how the project is using solar, wind, and biogas energy to bring reliable, affordable power to the HIMANA cooperative in Kilosa District. Help make real change to the lives of farming families by donating today.
We work with farmers to improve their produce, so they can support their families with more resilient livelihoods.
Farm Africa reduces poverty by helping farmers grow more, sell more and sell for more, while protecting the environment.
Our work is only possible thanks to people who take action. Support farmers who are bearing the brunt of the climate crisis today.
