Aloysius is a farmer and pioneer of the orange sweet potato project in Teso sub-region, Uganda.

Our partners are helping smallholder farmers to gain the tools and knowledge they need to develop their resilience to climate change, reduce deforestation and improve their livelihoods using sustainable practices. They’re helping empower women farmers and making farming into a viable business proposition for young people.

Waitrose Foundation

Since 2017, Waitrose Foundation and Farm Africa have been working together to improve the lives of over 20,000 farmers and workers in vegetable and flower farmers and workers in the Waitrose supply chain in Kenya and Tanzania with community-led projects. We were proud to win a Third Sector Business Charity Award for our partnership in 2023.

Farmer J

Farmer J, a health-focused quick service restaurant chain, is supporting Farm Africa through sales of fieldbowls across all their restaurants. With a shared commitment to sustainable and ethical food practices, we’re working together to bring positive change to smallholder farmers.

Food for Good programme

Established over ten years ago, our committed group of Food for Good programme members have raised over £2.5 million for Farm Africa through membership fees, overseas challenges and staff fundraising. Their support has enabled us to invest funds where they are needed most to drive impact for rural farming communities.
