The partnership has a shared ambition to contribute towards safe, inclusive and sustainable WASH access and sustainable, climate-resilient agricultural livelihoods for Tanzanians by 2030.

“Farm Africa is delighted to work in partnership with WaterAid, whose impressive record bringing safe water, effective sanitation and improved hygiene practices has transformed life for many rural communities across to Tanzania. Access to water is essential for smallholder farmers to be able to produce food, especially in the face of climate change. Improved sanitation and hygiene are key to improving food security good nutrition.

When combined with Farm Africa’s work to improve agricultural practices, protect the environment and connect farmers to markets, our partnership will support many more rural communities across Tanzania to thrive.”
