For farmers in Tanzania, essential services can be completely out of reach. Farmer, Adelaida, knew this problem well but thanks to Farm Africa’s project with the Farm to Market Alliance, she opened a shop that had a huge impact on her life and on her whole community too.

Ethiopia

Increasing Access to Agricultural Inputs

In Amhara, Ethiopia, Farm Africa's Market Systems project, funded by Sida, improved smallholder farmers' access to key inputs by establishing a local agri-business industry. Farmers are now able to apply the right products, reducing risk of crop failures.
