Reviving the cashew nut industry on the Kenyan Coast with Ten Senses Africa
Farm Africa worked in partnership with Ten Senses Africa, an agricultural company dedicated to organic, fair trade and ethical business practices, to revitalise Kenya’s cashew industry and create new job opportunities through our cashew nut and sesame production and marketing project.
A new video from Ten Senses Africa highlights how we worked together to provide farmers living in Kwale, Kilifi and Lamu counties in coastal Kenya with seedlings and training programmes in business skills and good agricultural practices to build their capacity and help them establish and develop profitable cashew businesses.

The project was funded by the European Union’s Emergency Trust Fund for stability and addressing root causes of irregular migration and displaced persons in Africa. The Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation (SlovakAID) managed the project’s funds on behalf of the European Union.
