Farm Africa’s sustainable forest management project in the Babati District of Manyara Region in Tanzania helped women like Lucia Chami set up forest-based livelihoods such as beekeeping. Lucia is a beekeeper who now runs a thriving honey business, which helps pay for her children’s school fees and protects the environment.
