No mother should have to choose to feed her children or send them to school.
Women farmers in eastern Africa are disproportionately affected by climate change. They work tirelessly but unreliable rainfall and exhausted soil often yield insufficient harvests. This creates a heart-wrenching dilemma of providing food or paying for their children’s education.
Without the right tools and knowledge to adapt to these challenges, their resilience is stretched to its limits, threatening their families’ futures.
But there’s hope. Farm Africa provides crucial training and resources, empowering farmers like Juliet to combat climate change and build sustainable livelihoods, as well as train others in her community to do the same.

Meet Juliet
Juliet learnt regenerative agriculture, transforming her farm and her family’s future. Now, she can feed her family and send her children to school. Your gift will help more mothers achieve this life-changing transformation.
"Now, with what I’ve learnt from Farm Africa, I run my farm as a business. My life is better. I can feed my family, sell the surplus, and even pay for my children’s education."

Juliet Muthoni
Smallholder farmer, Kenya
Juliet’s success has made her a valuable resource for her community. Juliet has been trained by Farm Africa to be able to share her knowledge.
She is now a lead farmer training other mothers in sustainable agriculture, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve financial independence by sharing skills to increase their yields, diversify their income and secure their children’s futures.
Incredible change happens when the determination of people like Juliet meets the dedicated support of people like you.
