Farm Africa returns as charity partner at The London Coffee Festival

Farm Africa is proud to be returning to The London Coffee Festival as the charity partner for a third year.

Taking place from 15 – 18 May, the four-day event embraces London’s bustling and vibrant coffee scene with coffee companies, tastings, demonstrations from world-class baristas and music all on offer.

This year marks Farm Africa’s 40th anniversary and to celebrate we will be giving away lots of prizes at the festival. If you are going to the festival, visit the bag stand at the Brick Lane entrance to get your iconic London Coffee Festival tote bag for a suggested donation of £5, and you will be entered into a prize draw to win some fantastic prizes.

Farm Africa works with coffee farmers in Ethiopia, Uganda and DR Congo and all donations will go towards supporting farmers in eastern Africa adapt to climate change and increase their incomes, so that they can feed their families and send their children to school.

A huge 80% of East African coffee is grown by smallholder farmers, who depend on coffee farming for their income, yet bear the brunt of climate change and live in poverty.
