Help us build Farmers and Growers Skills and Resources in Tanzania

Farm Africa is a leading NGO specialising in growing rural prosperity by helping farmers, agribusinesses and forest communities build sustainable and resilient livelihoods. We work shoulder-to-shoulder with communities, combining deep local knowledge with expert technical support to deliver real and lasting change.

In Tanzania, we’re partnering with farmers and producers to improve food security, protect vital natural resources, and increase incomes. We’re looking for an outstanding leader to build on this progress and lead our growing portfolio of innovative programmes.

As Country Director, you’ll provide strategic leadership and oversight of Farm Africa’s work in Tanzania. You’ll shape and grow our programmes, inspire and lead a talented team, and build meaningful partnerships that increase our impact.

This is a pivotal role for someone who combines deep experience of development programming with a passion for agriculture, natural resource management and rural enterprise. You’ll be just as comfortable in high-level meetings with government and donors as you are in the field with farmers and project teams.

About You

We’re looking for a values-driven, strategic leader who is passionate about sustainable development and empowering rural communities.

Why Farm Africa?

At Farm Africa, we don’t believe in quick fixes. We believe in long-term partnerships, rooted in trust and local expertise. Join us and lead work that’s making a genuine, lasting difference – project by project, farm by farm, family by family.
