Farm Africa's Marathon heroes

Farm Africa’s London Marathon runners braved the 26.2 miles with the goal of helping build a prosperous rural Africa. Twelve runners from all over the world and walks of life came together to push themselves to the limits and raise over £37,500 for Farm Africa.

The improved storage and aggregation of staple crops were on the agenda at recent training sessions organised by Farm Africa for 40 agricultural extension and 38 warehouse workers in Uganda.  Effective post-harvest handling of crops is vital in cutting losses and maximising the volume of crops that smallholder farmers are able to sell.
