Helen's triathlon

Helen and Amanda Whiteley

Helen, one of Farm Africa's volunteers, completed the East Grinstead Triathlon on 12 May 2013. Helen completed the challenge with her twin sister Amanda. Both are visually impaired registered blind, so this presents a real challenge to both of them. They swam 10 lengths in a swimming pool, then cycled on a tandem for 15km and then finished with a 2.5km run with a guide.

Helen finished 19th and Amanda 30th out of 73 competitors!
