Viv is one of nine senior women from the UK food industry taking part in Farm Africa's Big Beehive Build.

Day 2 of the Big Beehive Build! Nine women, three days, 90 beehives!

So, we journey back along the rural dusty track to Erri Village, one that we are getting to know quite well! I am wondering who'll be stuck crossing the river today?!

Picking up where we left off yesterday we crack on with our co-ordinated approach, working side by side with the local villagers. They are keen and work away enthusiastically with us, knowing that the Farm Africa project will bring great benefits to their community. They are very welcoming and seem to enjoy us being in the village. The children find us intriguing!

We have been busy bees and are making great progress! Our teamwork, carpentry and wire work skills have had some great compliments! In fact we have now almost completed the 90 beehives!! It's a real sense of achievement. Now, just the painting and the party to go!

Back home, fundraising is going superbly and we are over half way to our target. We are going to treat ourselves to a G&T tonight!
