Farm Africa staff will participate in events at the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow, both in-person and virtually, to share the organisation’s experience and learning in helping rural communities across eastern Africa to adapt to and mitigate climate change.

In the run-up to the COP26 climate change conference, Farm Africa organised two local dialogues in Dodoma, Tanzania, focused on the opportunities and challenges for women and young people in producing and marketing sorghum, a drought-tolerant crop that is better suited to the region’s increasingly erratic rainfall than maize, the staple crop traditionally grown there.
