Robinah lives in central Uganda and farms six acres of land. Her land has the potential to yield good quality crops such as peanuts, maize and beans. But in the past, despite Robinah’s hard work, her crops were all too frequently destroyed by pests and diseases, leaving her unable to feed and provide for her children.

Thanks to Farm Africa supporters, we were able to teach Robinah new ways to farm her land and provide her with disease-resistant seeds. The right seeds combined with better farming techniques, have meant that Robinah’s farm has flourished and grown into a productive business. Peace, Praise and Joy are able to attend school and can look forward to eating nutritious meals on Christmas day, and every day.

And they aren’t the only ones. Robinah is sharing her knowledge with others in her community and producing more of her seeds to sell to others who need them, meaning more families can look forward to healthier harvests. But there are still thousands of mothers like Robinah who are urgently relying on your help at this special time of year.
