Farm Africa is governed by a board of trustees who bring together a wide range of relevant skills and experience from the UK and eastern Africa.
Our senior management team, including the directors based in Addis Ababa, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam and Kampala, handle the day-to-day running of the organisation.
Michael Palin is our patron and correspondent Kate Adie is one of our ambassadors.

The membership of Farm Africa is the ultimate controlling body of the organisation. Selected by the Board of Trustees in recognition of their commitment to the objects of the charity, members serve renewable terms of five years and are entitled to vote at Farm Africa's annual general meetings.
Farm Africa recognises and appreciates the strength and continuity of support that such a membership structure affords. The Board of trustees welcomes nominations for membership, and is itself eligible to nominate new members.
