Willi and Elizabeth live in Kitui, Kenya. When Farm Africa first met them, their crops had failed and they had only harvested enough food to feed their family for one month.

Their lives changed when Farm Africa taught Willi and Elizabeth about different crops that would thrive even in very dry conditions, as well as different ways to make the best possible use of what little rain falls.

Three months later, Willi and Elizabeth reaped their first healthy harvest for many years. As well as harvesting enough to feed their family, they had a small surplus to sell to cover school costs for their two eldest children.

Hunger is now a thing of the past for the Mullwa family and Willi and Elizabeth can look forward to a brighter future for their children; Stephen, Anastasia, Samuel and baby Moses.
