Step into the heart of the Chilterns countryside on Saturday 23 September and make a meaningful impact for rural Africa with each stride! Join the Chiltern Challenge by walking, jogging, or running and support Farm Africa's mission to empower farmers and preserve the environment.

As you traverse the picturesque Chilterns, you'll be walking in solidarity with the hardworking farmers in eastern Africa. Distances available are 10km, 25km and 50km. Every step you take will contribute to their sustainable livelihoods and the preservation of the beautiful countryside they call home.

Each distance is a loop that begins and ends at a basecamp in Henley. As the sun sets on Saturday evening, gather with fellow participants for a celebratory BBQ, complete with a lively bar and captivating entertainment. You can relax and recharge in our on-site camping facilities, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the experience. Ample parking options ensure a seamless and convenient event for all.

What is included?

• Farm Africa will provide: your very own Farm Africa breathable t-shirt, fundraising materials, support and advice, cheering materials for your friends and family, publicity support
• The event will provide: free food and drink at regular rest stops (every 12.5km), medics, marshals and massages, Facebook community group and a glass of fizz, t-shirt, BBQ and a medal to commemorate your achievement at the finish line!

There are three ways you can secure your place with different fundraising options...

Farm Africa charity place - from £10!

Registration fees for each distance will be:

• 25km: Register for £10 / fundraising target £220 (Use code 23SUMMER25 for discount!)
• 50km: Register for £30 / fundraising target £395 (Use code 23SUMMER50 for discount!)

Book your charity place via the Ultra Challenge website and select Farm Africa as your chosen charity. Our events team will be notified and we'll be contact as soon as we find out you're on the team!

Mixed funding

Pay half of the event place cost yourself, fundraise a bit less and Farm Africa will pay the balance of the event place cost.
