Farm Africa and HIPPEAS are proud to present their first ever comedy fundraiser, ‘Laughing Season’. On 19 April from 6.30pm at the Union Chapel in Islington, comedians from around the world will be taking the stage for a good laugh for a good cause!

The cream of the stand-up crop will be making an appearance, with stars from ‘Mock the Week’, ‘The Mash Report’, ‘Frankie Boyle’s American Autopsy’, Have I Got News for You’ and ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’.

Providing the laughs is an incredible line-up, crammed to the rafters with the cream of the stand-up crop:

Our host for the evening will be the ridiculously funny, Felicity Ward – star of ‘Live at the BBC’ and ‘Mock the Week’, and winner of the Best Newcomer at the Melbourne Fringe Festival.

Britain’s favourite Grumpy Old Man and the Mayor of Balham, Arthur Smith, who, when not featuring on every Radio 4 programme ever, has had audiences laughing their socks off for decades with his riotous live shows.

New York’s finest and star of BBC2’s ‘The Mash Report’, ‘Frankie Boyle’s American Autopsy’, and C4’s ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’ is the incredible, Funny Women Award winner, Desiree Burch.

’One of the finest gag-writers in the business’, the sublime, surreal and hysterical Simon Munnery is an incredible addition to the bill. Don’t take our word for it: according to The Guardian, Simon is an ‘absolute must-see for any comedy connoisseur’. Hard to argue with that.

The hilarious Edinburgh Best Newcomer Nominee Imran Yusuf who will bring his ‘Sharp, passionate and uplifting’ comedy and give your sides a good splitting.

‘Bubbling with energy and wit’ and nominee for the 99 Club Female Comedians’ Bursary, Athena Kugblenu, will make you laugh and think with her ‘socially astute and savvy observations’.

Bringing his unique third-culture kid way of thinking is the brilliant Mo Omar. Mo has just been named Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year 2017, and is set to take the UK comedy scene by storm.

And finally…A VERY SPECIAL SURPRISE GUEST who is absolutely unmissable.
