How regenerative agriculture is building farmers' resilience to climate change

Mary used to plant seeds from her previous harvests and only used a little fertiliser or manure. These practices depleted the soil’s nutrients, leaving the mother of four struggling financially. After joining Farm Africa’s Regenerative Agriculture project, she is now a village-based advisor, teaching other farmers how to increase their harvest with her newly taught methods.

Business training from Farm Africa's Cultivate programme has helped Mr Said's sunflower processing business in Tanzania to thrive. The guidance by Farm Africa staff has helped the company to qualify for finance to help their business grow and triple the staff numbers.
