As part of Farm Africa's partnership with the Waitrose Foundation, the Muramati Health Centre was constructed in December 2022 to provide workers at Ontilili farm and the neighbouring community with affordable and local access to healthcare.

Farm Africa and the Swedish Embassy in Ethiopia have signed a $11.5 million grant agreement for a new programme, Nature-Based Solutions for Sustainable and Inclusive Development. The four-year programme aims to sustainably manage forests, conserve biodiversity, build communities’ resilience to climate change and develop sustainable livelihoods through holistic nature-based solutions.

The Waitrose & Partners Foundation and Farm Africa won the award for 'Food & Beverage Charity Partnership of the Year' at the Third Sector Business Charity Awards. Together, the Waitrose Foundation and Farm Africa work to improve the lives of vegetable and flower farmers and workers on 23 farms in the Waitrose supply chain in Kenya and Tanzania.
With funding from the IKEA Foundation through AGRA, Farm Africa is supporting 50,000 farmers in Embu and Tharaka Nithi in Kenya to promote regenerative agriculture methods which build farmers’ resilience to climate extremes, improve soil health and boost yields, enabling farmers to protect their land, and their livelihoods.
