Uniting behind sustainable food production in Africa

Leaders from across the food industry gathered last night at The Wellcome Collection in London in support of Farm Africa’s Food for Good campaign.

Having begun in 2011 as a fundraising campaign with the UK food industry, Food for Good continues to grow and develop, incorporating sharing of technical expertise, corporate sponsorship opportunities, high-profile overseas challenges and industry networking events like this one.

Guests, many of whom represented long-term supporters of Food for Good, heard from Farm Africa’s Chief Executive, Nicolas Mounard, who highlighted elements of the organisation’s 2020 strategy. At the core of the strategy is working with the private sector to strengthen every aspect of farming supply chains - from soil to supermarket - delivering greater impact for the farming communities they work with, as well as compelling business benefits for the private sector. Farm Africa builds impactful, relevant and bespoke partnerships with UK and global companies.
