Comms Team Volunteer
Minimum of one day per week
Location: 3-5 Bleeding Heart Yard, London EC1N 8SJ
Farm Africa’s Communications Team is seeking a motivated, bright and organised volunteer to help support our cross channel media output, which includes a range of campaigns and communications initiatives designed to raise awareness about Farm Africa’s work; develop its brand; and increase positive engagement with the public, companies, the media, and within the NGO and funding sectors.
This role involves providing research, writing, administrative and organisational assistance to the Communications Team, which incorporates publications, media, PR and digital. You will help the team to deliver a variety of high-quality content for use across Farm Africa’s external communications output, including: print, radio, broadcast, marketing, online and social media.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience of being part of a busy communications team and grow an understanding of how charity communications work within an international NGO. Farm Africa will cover reasonable travel and lunch expenses.

Partnerships Team Volunteer

Farm Africa works with farmers and communities in eastern Africa to reduce poverty by helping them to increase their incomes by growing and selling more whilst adapting to climate change and protecting the environment. This is an exciting time to join Farm Africa as we deliver our ambitious strategy to expand our work and increase our impact.
Farm Africa’s partnerships team is seeking a motivated, bright and organised volunteer to help research and manage new and existing partners to maximise fundraising opportunities. This is a varied role which will involve undertaking research, writing, administrative and organisational assistance. You will help the team to drive income growth researching opportunities for new partnerships, helping provide excellent stewardship and account management and supporting the planning and delivery of our events.
