Farm Africa and Sida launch new Nature-Based Solutions program in Ethiopia

Farm Africa and the Swedish Embassy in Ethiopia have signed a $11.5 million grant agreement for a new program, Nature-Based Solutions for Sustainable and Inclusive Development. The four-year program aims to sustainably manage forests, conserve biodiversity, build communities’ resilience to climate change and develop sustainable livelihoods through holistic nature-based solutions.

This depleted the soil’s nutrients, leaving the mother of four struggling financially. But since joining Farm Africa’s Regenerative Agriculture project, Mary is now a village-based advisor, teaching other farmers how to increase their harvest with her newly taught methods.
