Founder of innovative African veterinary service hailed as leading Social Entrepreneur

Dr Christie Peacock, former Chief Executive of Farm Africa and founder and Chairman of SIDAI Africa, has been awarded a prestigious Social Entrepreneur Award by the Schwab Foundation. SIDAI Africa is a network of high quality veterinary services serving pastoralists and smallholder farmers in Kenya.

Farm Africa staff take up new Africa-UK agricultural scholarships

Farm Africa has entered into a new relationship with the Marshal Papworth Fund which will see African development workers, four staff and four from partner organisations,  undertaking an intensive short course in sustainable agriculture at a leading UK agricultural college.

This spring diners are helping to end hunger by supporting Farm Africa’s annual Dine for Good campaign. Dine for Good is an opportunity for a number of the UK’s best food destinations to raise funds to help farmers in eastern Africa grow themselves and their families out of hunger.
