Farm Africa's CEO takes on the Royal Parks Half

In two weeks’ time, Farm Africa’s CEO, Nicolas Mounard, will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money and awareness for Farm Africa.

Nicolas will be joining 16,000 runners - and a team of 18 Farm Africa runners - for what is one of the UK’s most beautiful city runs.

Nicolas said: “I started as Farm Africa’s CEO in February this year. I feel privileged to lead the organisation, and I’m really proud of the work we do – I’ve seen the impact of our projects and I know what Farm Africa means to the farmers in eastern Africa we are helping.

“Now that I’ve had some time to settle in, I felt it was time to put on my running shoes and raise some money for what I know to be a fantastic cause. We have so many runners and athletes who push themselves to their limits each year to fundraise for us – and I’m really pleased that I’ll be able to join them in the race this year.”

Keep an eye on the Farm Africa Twitter feed on Sunday 9 October for updates on Nico’s progress. And if you’d like to support Nico as he takes on the Royal Parks, you can sponsor him on his fundraising page.
