Nicolas Mounard appointed as Farm Africa's new Chief Executive

Farm Africa has appointed Nicolas Mounard as its new Chief Executive. Nicolas is currently the Managing Director of Twin and Twin Trading and brings with him tremendous experience in developing and managing long term agricultural programmes in developing countries.

Nicolas is skilled at managing both commercial and not-for-profit organisations and spent seven years with Alter Eco, France, including four years as their Chief Executive Officer.

Nicolas will join Farm Africa on 22 February 2016, taking over from the current Chief Executive Nigel Harris who will be leaving this month. 

Nicolas said, “It’s a great honour to have been appointed new Chief Executive of Farm Africa and I can’t wait to work alongside the staff and Board of Trustees to deepen and increase our impact on smallholder farmer livelihoods in eastern Africa.”  

Richard Macdonald, Chairman of Farm Africa said, “We are absolutely delighted that Nicolas Mounard is joining us and look forward to him contributing hugely to Farm Africa’s continued growth and positive impact in eastern Africa. Nicolas brings drive and dedication to our cause as well as exceptional experience of linking smallholder communities to value chains in a sustainable way. We are very excited about him taking up this position and joining Farm Africa early next year.”
