Training young Kenyan farmers in skills for their future

Farm Africa staff recently visited our YESA (Youth Empowerment through Sustainable Agriculture) project in Kenya and were thrilled to see that schools and youth groups involved in the project have been incredibly productive in the last few months!

Farmers Weekly Magazine has just published the first in a series of fascinating articles on Farm Africa projects in Kenya and Uganda.

Matthew Naylor of Farmers Weekly travelled to see Farm Africa projects with Charlie Russell, a Scottish beef and dairy farmer who was recently awarded 2012’s UK Farmer of the Year. The two were accompanied by Farm Africa’s Communications Officer, Matt Whitticase, and Cathy Whiteman, Head of Community and Events Fundraising.
