Give Hunger the Boot

1 in 4 people in sub-Saharan Africa will go to bed hungry tonight.

A shocking fact isn’t it? Many of these people are farmers whose biggest challenge is a lack of skills, knowledge, or seeds to be able to provide for their families.

Take part in Give Hunger the Boot this autumn and you can help us change this, for good.

Give Hunger the Boot is our annual fundraising campaign where schools, churches, community groups and workplaces get together to raise funds for our life-changing work in eastern Africa, helping farmers grow themselves out of poverty and Give Hunger the Boot, forever.

Join us this autumn by pulling on your wellies and taking part in a wide range of fun, welly-themed fundraising events. You could raise sponsorship by wearing your wellies to work, or ask your local school to take part in the Great African Welly Walk. In previous years, church congregations across the UK have used their harvest services to Give Hunger the Boot with a whole range of welly-themed activities, including sponsored welly decoration at Sunday School and taking collections in a welly boot.

Use the links below to find out how you can join us and help African farmers Give Hunger the Boot.

Your support will help us ensure Africa’s farmers are able to grow enough food to eat not just this harvest, but every harvest.
