Friends of Farm are some of Farm Africa’s most loyal supporters. They organise regular fundraising events and are champions in their local communities.
Anyone who organises a regular event for Farm Africa is a Friend of Farm. Whatever the size of your fundraising event, whether it’s a monthly coffee morning, annual barn dance or summer plant sale, if it is in your calendar – we want to include it in ours!
As well as organising fundraising events, Friends of Farm also spread the word locally and encourage organisations such as schools or churches to learn about and support Farm Africa.
You may wish to form a local group with others in your community so that you can do even more to help end hunger in Africa. Fundraising is always more fun together.
Regular fundraising events are important to help us plan our projects in Africa. If we can rely on your regular support and know when your fundraising will take place, we can plan our work on the ground more effectively.
Being a Friend of Farm will not only connect you to the farmers in Africa that you are supporting, but will also mean you are a part of a family of like-minded Farm Africa supporters around the country. In return for your dedication and commitment, you will receive:
If you have any questions about being a Friend of Farm, want to chat through your ideas or if you’re ready and raring to go with your plans, please get in touch – we’re always happy to help.
