On 27 March 2014 Farm Africa hosted the first ever Food for Good Ball – a celebration of the food and hospitality industry’s campaign to end hunger for good. Since the initial food industry Kilimanjaro challenge in 2011, Food for Good has raised £750,000 to help families in eastern Africa grow enough food for their families each and every harvest. We're delighted to announce that last March's Ball helped raised an impressive £140,000 towards the campaign.

Hosted beneath the magnificent Dome of the Victoria and Albert Museum, guests enjoyed an exclusive menu specially designed and prepared by award-winning chef Jason Atherton, who below tells us why he was so excited to be supporting our first Food for Good Ball.

The night was a unique opportunity to enjoy an intimate three course meal and a programme of entertainment set amongst the museum’s beautiful sculptures and architecture. With jazz classics from the Noa Alvarez jazz quartet, it was a night to remember for guests.

Our auctioneer (and Master of Ceremonies for the evening) Martin Bayfield amused guests whilst taking generous bids for each of our exclusive auction lots, kindly donated to the charity.
