#GivingTuesday: 1 December 2015

Donate to Farm Africa this #GivingTuesdayAfter snapping up deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it's time to give back!

#GivingTuesday on Tuesday 1 December, 2015 is a global day dedicated to giving. This #GivingTuesday Farm Africa is raising funds for our Christmas appeal, which focuses on how we are helping young people in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya, to set up vegetable gardens and add much-needed nutrients to their diets.

Many schoolchildren in Dagoretti, Nairobi, eat just one proper meal a day, at school. All too often, this is bland and lacks the vital nutrients growing children need.

Farm Africa believes in farm aid, not food aid. With your support we can help schools and youth clubs establish vegetable plots that will provide a plentiful supply of nutritious vegetables for these children to eat. And they will also learn practical farming skills that will set them up well for the future.

As Christmas approaches and you plan your family's Christmas lunch, please make a #GivingTuesday donation.

Your gift today could help transform an empty plot of land into a school vegetable garden, meaning children can have healthy school dinners and can learn practical farming skills.
