Farm Africa and The London Produce Show

Farm Africa is delighted to be named as the official charity partner for The London Produce Show 2017.

The London Produce Show and Conference, running from the 7-9 of June, is a UK event for the fresh fruit, vegetable and flower industries and is presented by the Fresh Produce Consortium and Produce Business UK.

The event will look to attract UK and international produce buyers from the retail, food service and wholesale sectors. There will be educational seminars and workshops, a food service forum, chef demonstrations, an extensive student programme and tours to industry locations in and around London.

Private sector partnerships are at the core of Farm Africa’s bold new strategy to transform rural Africa, with the organisation working with companies to deliver greater impact for the farming communities they work with, as well as compelling business benefits for the private sector.

Farm Africa will be drawing on its 30 years of experience to contribute to this year’s London Produce Show programme. On the 8th of June Farm Africa's CEO Nicolas Mounard will be delivering a presentation from 4.30 to 5pm in the seminars area. Come along for a rich and important discussion about how produce companies can play a vital role in unlocking the potential of eastern Africa’s farming sector, while at the same time meeting the business needs of a rapidly changing world.

Be sure to visit the Farm Africa stall to meet Farm Africa’s staff and find out more about the organisation's broad portfolio of projects and opportunities that span the entire supply chain from soil to supermarket.
